Annual Gymkhana
Harlequin Equestrian Centre Gymkhana

The inaugural Harlequin Gymkhana was held on 20th January 2008 at Harlequin Equestrian Centre in Macclesfield. The day was a fabulous success despite the intermittent rain and congratulations to all of the riders who participated in the range of activities and were successful in taking home ribbons and prizes.
A big thank you must firstly go to the trophy givers who provided the perpetual awards as well all the individual prize sponsors for their support of the event. Many thanks also to Des Millar for braving the weather and providing her excellent judging skills. A final thank you to all the parents for their work with preparation and assistance with various duties throughout the day.
At the conclusion of the day’s events Anne awarded her two most outstanding students for the 2007 riding year with the respective awards that they will hold and admire until next year’s event.
The Ann Hagenbuch 2007 perpetual trophy, awarded for most dedicated and enthusiastic student under 11 went this year to Annabel Weiner. Great work!!
The Stefanie and Trevor Hall 2007 perpetual trophy awarded to the most dedicated and enthusiastic student over 11 went this year to Sarah Baffi who works hard and continues to improve.
Des Millar awarded the judges trophy for the day to Madi Hall.
We will be hosting the event again in January 2009 hopefully under clear skies. I am looking forward to seeing you all again for more fun and gymkhana action.
